Location: 231 Hill Road, Rome, NY 13441
Consistent with the credit union mission of providing our members the right financial services to live life, dream big and achieve financial success, the Operations Analyst you will :
- Support the administration and operation of policies and programs that further the goals of the Financial Center Services Division and Credit Union in implementing the strategic goals and objectives.
- Analyze the business processes of AmeriCU with the purpose of improving operational efficiency and effectiveness of processes that affect member service and staff productivity.
- Document process changes and work collaboratively with subject-matter experts to maintain efficient, professional procedures in compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Supports process improvement by:
- Identifying and solving problems in various fields or specialized areas
- Collects and organizes information from various sources like computer data, observations of processes, internal/external resources
- Conducts meetings with stakeholders for discovery and feedback
- Examines the data to identify root causes and potential solutions
- Analyzes information and develops solutions to business problems
- Advises managers/project leads on findings and the various courses they can take to address the problem
- Write memos and reports for managers/project leads to look over the findings and recommendations
- Where applicable, leads process improvement/project initiative through to implementation
- Coordinates and communicates process changes with appropriate reference to supporting documentation to all applicable staff.
- Develops and maintains documentation with input from appropriate resources that will be utilized in training programs and as reference material for staff.
- Develops documentation that results from new initiatives, regulatory/compliance updates, process /workflow changes,.
- Maintains documentation with all applicable links, attachments, references, etc.
- Serves as a resource on project teams to provide input on member-facing processes and impacts to front-line along with affected support dept. workflows.
- Serves as the liaison for system and operational issues that pertain to system releases, system enhancements, team initiatives, regulatory requirements, compliance requirements, new or enhanced system applications, etc. and assists with problem resolution.
- Serves as a contact for Divisional Content Managers to resolve system issues and/or communicate any changes that would affect format or content.
- Serves as a resource to users for how-to questions relative to core systems and procedures
